Museum Field Trips
Join us at the museum to experience exhibits detailing automotive history and innovation that are packed with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). For us STEM is not a buzzword, it’s our year-long commitment to encouraging education and welcoming learners of all ages.

Guided Tours
Visiting student groups requires 1 chaperone for every 10 students. The lead chaperone is admitted free with the group.
Museum Guide $20.00 per guide (1 guide for every 20 students is recommended)
Students $7.50
Additional chaperones $10.00 (More than the required 1:10 ratio)
Self Guided Tour
No guide will be assigned to your group; however, we do have docents within the Museum galleries to answer questions.
Students $7.50
Additional Chaperone $10.00 (More than the required 1:10 ratio)
Discounts, museum affiliated memberships or vouchers cannot be combined with the field trip experience.
Before your Visit:
- One week’s notice is required to ensure the museum can adequately accommodate your group for a positive field trip experience. Arrange for your group visit by calling 717-566-7100 ext. 117
- Final group counts are required 1-day before a visit.

Things to Know:
- Educational groups (School, Summer Camp or Scout) consist of 10+ students.
- AACA Museum, Inc. does not have a designated lunchroom. You may call ahead to arrange for a lunch area to be set up for your visit. Weather permitting, groups may enjoy lunch outside on the grass areas surrounding the Museum.
- All guided groups are oriented in the museum lobby.
- For shopping in “Accessories” gift shop, chaperoned groups of 15 or fewer are permitted in the store at a time.
Mobile Outreach
Are you unable to come to the museum? We can come to you! If you have an upcoming event and would like to have America’s Transportation Experience stop by to provide an educational opportunity, contact us and we’d be happy to make the trip to your school or organization!
Our offsite mobile outreach experiences will be staffed with qualified museum volunteers and/or staff members equipped with educational knowledge to grab your students’ attention and inspire them to learn more about one of the most influential and important innovations in history: the automobile.
