Celebrate the Holidays with “Trees and Trains” at America’s Transportation Experience
Looking for a festive family outing this holiday season? Look no further than America’s Transportation Experience, where the magic of the season comes to life with our holiday exhibit, “Trees and Trains”! Running now through January 4, the Museum is fully decked out in holiday splendor, and we’re open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, December 24 & 25).
Discover Holiday Magic
You can’t miss Sammy, our 29 ft. snowplow, when you arrive. Then, as you stroll through the Museum, you’ll be surrounded by the beauty of dozens of themed and decorated Christmas trees. With classic holiday and automobile-themed designs, there’s a tree to delight every visitor. But that’s just the beginning—our extended model train exhibit adds a touch of nostalgia and wonder to our lower-level galleries. Watch as trains chug along the tracks, creating a scene that’s pure holiday magic.
Fun for Kids: The “Grinch & Max” Scavenger Hunt
For our youngest visitors (and those young at heart), the holiday fun doesn’t stop there! Kids can join in the “Grinch & Max” scavenger hunt for a chance to win a Museum Family Membership. Can you spot all the hidden characters? It’s a fantastic way to add an extra layer of adventure to your visit.
Make Holiday Memories
Whether you’re a train enthusiast, a lover of holiday decorations, or simply looking for a unique seasonal outing, “Trees and Trains” offers something special for everyone. It’s an experience to share with loved ones, create cherished memories, and fully immerse yourself in the joy and wonder of the holidays.
Helping the Community
We’re also collecting new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 16 to support Toys for Tots. Please drop off donations from November 22 – December 20th. Thank you for your generous support of those in need this holiday season.
Don’t miss out—plan your visit today and celebrate the season in style at America’s Transportation Experience.
