A Celebration of 20 Years: Going Back in Time
May 20, 2023—Fall
Location: Throughout the Museum
Our upcoming exhibit, opening in May 2023, marks the museum’s anniversary milestone by presenting “A Celebration of 20 Years: Going Back in Time.” For this unique anniversary exhibit, the museum’s main gallery returns to its initial design, guiding visitors through eight decades of motoring while traversing the USA. The route begins in New York, travels across Route 66, and ends at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Along the way, guests experience spotlighted vehicles from the museum’s more than 200-vehicle collection of cars, buses, trucks, and motorcycles. “Going Back in Time” is curated by museum curator Stan Sipko and guest curator Jonathan Griggs. Mr. Griggs served as the museum’s Executive Director when the museum opened in 2003. He also served as the board of directors president in 2005. More details are coming soon.
