Austin-Healey
Nov 18, 2023—Apr 20, 2024
Location: Throughout the Museum
A display of vintage Austin-Healey cars is presented in the Williams-Clyne Showroom Gallery by the Austin-Healey Sports and Touring Club. Founded in 1976 by five Austin-Healey owners in the Harrisburg/York area, the club now consists of six regions in the Mid-Atlantic with a membership of over 400 along the eastern seaboard and into the mid-west. The club’s mission is to preserve the marque and its history. In the early years, this desire to preserve the cars often involved “retrievals” from junkyards.
Plan your visit to the museum.
Currently, each region holds monthly meetings and events while contributing event reports and technical articles to the monthly online publication, The Flash. The club also organizes “Encounter,” which is an all-region annual event open to all enthusiasts, featuring a car show, tech sessions, and various road and track events. Next year, “Encounter” will be held in September on the boardwalk of Ocean City, New Jersey. To find out more about AHSTC, visit the website.
