Night At The Museum

This year’s Night at the Museum (NATM) is focused on “Marques & Milestones.” The annual appreciation and fundraising event is planned for October 7th and coincides with the start of the yearly AACA Hershey Fall Meet. Again hosted by Bill Rothermel, we feature storied vehicles from our 300+ vehicle collection. These examples highlight significant occasions in motoring history. Here are a few:

Along with sharing compelling stories, Night at the Museum celebrates the mission and accomplishments of preserving and presenting automobiles and transportation history. The event provides the perfect platform to honor and recognize individuals who have exceptionally contributed to the automotive hobby.

Great food, cocktails, and entertainment

The evening kicks off at 5:00 PM with a reception featuring the music of solo looping artist Danny Spec and plenty of time to connect with friends. Following the reception, C&J Catering provides an expertly prepared dinner at 6:00 PM. JazzMe rhythm & blues band performs live throughout the evening. Guests can expect a lively music mix, an engaging program, and live and silent auctions.

AACA Museum, Inc. Automotive Heritage Award Honoree:

The AACA Museum, Inc. Automotive Heritage Award will be posthumously presented to Richard O. Ullman. Mr. Ullman, who passed away in 2011, was an innovative entrepreneur who founded two successful enterprises, National Prescription Administrators, Inc. and Benecard Services, Inc. He was a devoted family man and believed strongly in “giving back.” As a young man, he never drove the same car for long and always looked for another project car that he could turn into something special. He loved cars, turned his passion into a lifelong hobby, and built a diverse collection. He generously supported the Museum in many ways, and the Richard O. Ullman Family Foundation Gallery is named in his honor. Mr. Ullman’s family will accept the award on his behalf.

Who benefits from Night at the Museum?

The easy answer … everyone. As a Smithsonian Affiliate, the museum offers visitors a world-class transportation experience through interactive exhibits, educational opportunities, entertaining events, and hands-on activities. Dedicated to education and preserving transportation history, the museum opened in 2003. It continues to flourish and is often ranked among the top automobile museums in the United States.
