For the past 40 years, the Great Race has been the premier time-controlled road rally for collector cars. Over the years, racers have touched all 48 states in the continental United States, Mexico, and Canada. Each year, 120+ teams compete for prize money and the honor of winning the Great Race.

The camaraderie among participants is incredible. Diverse backgrounds, cultures, and race vehicles make the event truly unique. It’s about spending time with like-minded car lovers and getting to know one another while racing in a grand journey across the United States. Memories and stories from participants provide insight into the great adventure of the Great Race.
