Das Awkscht Fescht

For many years, America’s Transportation Experience/AACA Museum, Inc. has joined in on Das Awkscht Fescht. Marking its 61st year, Das Awkscht Fescht has been a summer car show Macungie, Pennsylvania tradition. The event offers three fun-packed days and is a perfect way for families to celebrate summer on the 42-acre fescht-site.

The 2024 event spotlights Mustangs. The 1965 Mustang provided the template for a new class of automobiles. The term “pony car” to describe members of its ranks was coined by Car Life magazine editor Dennis Shattuck. The characteristics of a pony car were defined as a sporty 4-passenger compact car for the masses.
