Bus Collection Spring Fling

The annual Spring Fling is planned for June 6th and June 7th, and we hope you’ll join us as we celebrate motorcoach history with collection and visiting vehicles!
We’re recognizing the hard work of our volunteers, our vendors’ generosity, and our guests’ commitment. Their combined efforts have provided substantial support for the museum.

Last Year’s Motorcoach Tour…
Thank you to those who came along for the ride! We offered a 2-stop motorcoach tour. The first stop was Rabbit Transit headquarters in York, PA. Next, we visited the 50th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals East at the York Expo Center. Registration for the tour was $10 and required in advance. Admission to the Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals was $20 ($18 for veterans), payable at the door. Lunch options from a variety of vendors were available at the venue.
- 7:45 – Meet at America’s Transportation Experience
- 8:00 – Leave for Rabbit Transit, York, PA
- 9:15 – Arrive at Rabbit Transit, York, PA
- 11:15 – Travel to 50th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals, York Expo Center
- 11:30 – Arrive at 50th Annual NSRA Street Rod Nationals
- 3:30 – Departure for return to the museum
- 5:00 – Arrive at the museum
- 5:30 – Dinner on your own at Tröegs Independent Brewing (Hershey). Transportation is provided.
After dinner, please come back to the museum and visit with fellow bus enthusiasts.
Saturday, June 7
Bus & Motorcoach Exhibit
Buses and motorcoaches displayed throughout the museum’s grounds
3:30 pm – Wrap Up
8:00 am – Registration (you may pre-register w/ the Mail-in Bus Registration Form below)
8:00 am – 9:00 am – Continental Breakfast
8:00 am – 3:00 pm – Bus Display
9:30 am – Town Hall: A celebration to recognize significant donors, bus historical groups, and volunteers
10:15 am – 3:00 pm – Bus shuttle to MOBT Annex
11:00 am – 2:00 pm – LUNCH items for purchase prepared by Mr. Sorrentos (please note: food purchases are cash only).
Important Information for Attendees
Bus Annex Shuttle
Bus annex shuttle tickets are required to visit the annex. The annex is accessible only by shuttle — no private/individual cars are permitted. Shuttle groups remain together while arriving and departing the annex.
• $10/person annex shuttle (all Spring Fling attendees)
Museum Access
- Free museum access for museum members
- Museum general admission tickets are required for non-members.
- Attention, all guests: Upon arrival, check-in is required at the museum’s ticket counter.
Fuel & Tire Saver Service
Fuel & Tire Saver will perform on-site tire services at the Spring Fling, including Nitrogen-only inflation. FTS uses Nitrogen in all of its tire fills because this one small change in tire maintenance, particularly in heavier, multi-tire vehicles, can save fleets thousands of dollars annually. Rest Stop
With the generous sponsorship from the Pennsylvania Bus Association, guests visiting the Spring Fling will have a place for a “Rest Stop” with free water supplied along with bus manufacturers’ tables in the tent area.
Buses of every style
You can view buses of every style on-site, vintage vehicles, bus memorabilia, and collectibles on display and for sale. If you bring your bus, please register to help us plan your participation. Registration is free.
Vendor Information
Vendor tables are FREE courtesy of a generous one-time donation. Become a vendor and showcase your memorabilia, models, or other collectibles. Once your registration is received, you will receive an email confirming your space. Please note: Tables are available on a first come, first served basis, and there is a limit to the number of tables available.
